Late Policy

Late assignments and labs are not accepted. If you have some legitimate reason to turn in a late assignment, for example a medical or family emergency, you must contact the professor or your lab TA for approval to turn the assignment in late. However, as described below, if you're just a little bit late, such as an hour or two, the assignment will still be counted as on time.

Assignments and labs are due by 11:59pm on their due date. The next morning one of the TAs downloads all the submitted work. Everything in this download is accepted as on time. This means that if you're an hour or two late and submit your assignment in the middle of the night, it will still be on time. So this provides a small grace period in which the assignment can still be counted as on time. But don't push this; if you didn't turn in the assignment until the morning it might end up being counted as late and you'd get no credit.
