Instructions
The exam is composed of 16 questions. There will be 8 preliminary questions, an invitation for you to take a break, and then 8 more challenging questions after the break. Once you click "next", you cannot go back to edit a previous answer. Once you hit "submit", you cannot change any answers (even for questions you haven't seen yet). Don't hit "submit" until you are finished. If you accidentally submit your exam too soon, get in contact with course staff as soon as possible so we can re-open your exam.
With almost all of these questions, there are ways of getting killer evidence in favor of specific answers. You should be writing and running code (like in some of the reading assignments).
Expected collaboration:
- When you are unsure about your answer on question, you can reach out to students and staff to get advice on how to gather evidence. Because each student sees randomized questions drawn from a pool of questions, another student's answer may not exactly apply to your own exam (but the technique they used to gather evidence should apply).
- You may take the exam in the same room as other students and talk to them about the questions and their answers. However, all selections made on canvas should represent your honest opinion, and you must be the one literally pressing the buttons.
