Description of Measure: 

The AAMD Adaptive Behavior Scale (School Edition) is a revision of the AAMD Adaptive Behavior Scale Public School Version. Part One of the scale focuses on personal independence evaluating coping skills. Part Two of the scale describes social behavior. Scores are interpreted on two levels: domain and factor. This assessment scale is typically used to identify students who are significantly performing lower than their peers.
