Cricut - creating a sticker with your design
For the Cricut, we're going to make a sitcker.
First, you'll need to upload Links to an external site.both of your shapes to Cricut Design Space.
Both of my images have a red exclamation mark warning me that they are too big. I'll start by resizing them (refer to the edit bar Links to an external site.for how to resize). I want my total sticker size to be no more than 3"x3", so I'll start by scaling my outer shape down to 3". Then I need to scale my other shape down so that it fits with the outer shape. I flipped my paintbrush image horizontally so it would fit within the paint splatter. You might need to move your layers Links to an external site. if they loaded in so that your outer layer was on top.
My paint splatter is showing as clear, so I went to the operation panel, made sure it was set to Basic Cut, and set the color to something other than black.
I found that my splatter was still clear, so I'll want to double check the cut in the maker section.
Next, set the machine to Maker and click "Make It".
Cricut Design Space will show the two colors of mat that you have, and where the cut lines are. The blue mat looks fine, so I'll continue to cut.
For a sticker, choose 2 colors of vinyl from the cart. Set them on the mat so that they match up with where the cuts are, choose "vinyl" for the material and cut each mat.
Once it's done, you can layer your vinyl and create your sticker.
