What To Expect

Let's break this down into some steps to understand how this would work

To Approve filament:

• Bring in the filament to the DSI (please do not open the bag with the filament)
• Ask someone at the desk to approve the filament
• We will check that the filament is on the list of approved filament, that the bag is sealed, and that the filament lines up with what the box and label say
• Once we can confirm this, it will be approved and you will be given bumpers to put on your filament

To Use Your Approved Filament

• Bring in your approved filament
• Check-in for your reservation as normal but mention you have brought your own filament
• A desk assistant will check to make sure it is approved
• Once confirmed, the check-out procedure continues. We will ask if you need a spool weight. You can either print and use your own weighted spool weight or check one out from us.
• You will receive a bookmark with a number indicating how many spools of filament you are using.
• You can use your filament with ours! If you do, you will receive 2 bookmarks - one for how many of our spools you are using and one for how many of your spools you are using. 
  • If we give you the wrong number/color, let us know. We can make mistakes, please correct us to prevent any cancellations
    
    • Purple bookmarks represent your spools
    • Bronze bookmarks represent our spools
