3 Layer Vinyl Sticker

When using more than 2 different layers for your stickers, there are some extra tricks you need to know.

Here are the layers I would like to cut out for my layered sticker.

1. Welding

Firstly, when working with more intricate layers you may want to combine sections of the .svg file together. In this case, I only wanted one color for the insides of this cell. To be able to do this, you may want to weld multiple layers together. To do this, select the layers you want to weld together. Then right-click the layers, hover over the "Combine" option, and select "Weld".

2. Creating Guiding Squares

Guiding squares help you line up each layer evenly after cutting, especially when you have more intricate layers.

To add guiding squares properly you will need to attach a square to each layer in the same position. To do this, start by selecting a square from the "Shapes" tab on the left side of Design Space.

Then, select the layer and the square. Right-click and attach them together. The square should match the color of the layer you attached to.

Do this for all the layers.

3. Putting the Layers Together

Once you're ready, go ahead and cut your layers!

When you're ready, peel off the second layer of your sticker with the transfer tape. Then, place the second layer on the backing layer by lining up the guiding squares! Do the same with the top layer.
