Accessing Mock Handshake Account

First, review all modules and complete the quiz. Once you complete the quiz, we will grant you access to a mock student account. Note that this account will have full access to attend events and apply for positions, so please do not click apply or attend while you are demonstrating the platform.

Log in with the same username/password you already utilize in Handshake (typically your Handshake employer account). Note: you do not need to have an employer account unless you plan to recruit students for on-campus employment opportunities. 

You can toggle between the student and employer views by clicking “Switch Users” under your profile. 

If you are currently in the student view, you will see the option to “Switch to Employer Account.” If you are in the employer view, you will see the option to “Switch to Students Account.” Click and you will enter that version of the site.
