Accessibility
An introduction to the concepts involved in the technical and social aspects of web accessibility, including roles and responsibilities. Accessibility is the right thing to do. Creating accessible content is a key step towards developing a more inclusive website and a more inclusive UC Santa Cruz.

When you’ve completed this module, you’ll have learned
- Basic components of web accessibility.
- How accessibility is a responsibility of a website owner, and is required for web content published at UCSC.
- How content choices such as color, links, images, tables, and multimedia can impact the user experience.
- What tools content creators can use to test the accessibility of their web content.
