Reading Journal

You will have a reading journal for this class. We'll sort out where to keep it later, but for the first couple, you can just paste the text into the assignment.

• You pick one (I suggest you use one you will have to present later, or which is useful to searching for related work for your project)

For each, you need to give 1) a citation, 2) one or two sentences on what the paper is about, 3) one sentence on what the contribution of this paper is, 4) a few sentences saying how they proved their contribution, and 5) at least one new idea for a research paper that could be a follow on to this paper or that this paper inspired. You can also keep any other notes you want. If its related work to a paper I am writing I often have notes about the category it fits in relative to my paper.
