Upload a link to a google docs presentation of your research project based on this template Links to an external site.. The presentations will be given from my machine in order to minimize switching time.
Aim for about 10 minutes of presentation time including feedback from Michael and your classmates. 6 minutes of talking and 4 minutes of feedback might be a good balance. Practice your presentation ahead of time to make sure you're able to give a short, snappy presentation.
If you haven't completed many technical components of the project yet, you can use the time to better educate the class on the context of your project (what's most similar? what game or other experience could ideally be changed if your project was successful?). You should use the presentation as a forcing function to get something done on your project, either wireframes of interfaces, architecture diagrams, datasets collected (in which case you can have a slide showing what example data from the dataset looks like), an early prototype of something, etc.
If you have completed an interesting technical component, it would be interesting to see it in action (even if this just means running some textual program in the command line) rather than just hearing a description of it while looking at a static slide in the presentation.
