- Available until Dec 9, 2019 at 8am
Share your progress on P2, and get inspired by others. Your peers are an excellent source of diverse inspirations.
Grading (same as P1.workshop):
- 1 point for the first non-blank, visible screenshot of one of your world generators.
- 1 point for the first clickable link to the project page (the one that also shows your artist's statement) or video (with enticing thumbnail image) showing animation/interaction for one of your generators.
As before, feel free to like other people's posts or ask them how their solution works? (Hopefully you can guess by just reading their code.)
Posting multiple screenshots or multiple links won't earn you extra points, but you are encouraged to share multiple generators if you have them.
If you borrow technical or artistic ideas from someone else's generator (even Adam's) you must give credit in your artist's statement to comply with the collaboration policy in this class. Example: "The smooth zooming effect here is based on the code from https://glitch.com/~one-forty-seven Links to an external site." You do not need to give credit for the P2 base code (it already contains an embedded comment about who the authors are) or snippets taken from the p5.js documentation. How do you know if you should give credit: Would the original creator be right to say that you are trying to pass off their work as yours?
