F5: Final Presentation
- Due No Due Date
- Points 30
Use your final project as a way to teach us all a lesson in generative design. You'll have 6 minutes of our attention plus access to an HDMI cable. Put on the best show you can.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Challenge: How challenging was the project idea? Was it appropriately complex, interesting for the team size? Is the challenge centered on generative design or did the challenge come from something distracting that could have been cut/dropped?
- Achievement: How successful was the team in meeting the challenge?
- Education: How well were you exposed to new ideas in and around generative design by the presentation? How well would this presentation work as a miniature guest lecture in a future generative design class?
For tips on optimizing your presentation, try reviewing the webcast of the last lecture (slides here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1vidSpcd1-yQR83C8bBgYeW3I9msVm-tSFNkjdoFRERk/edit?usp=sharing Links to an external site.) and/or come into studio time / office hours during finals week to get feedback from the course staff and any classmates that also happen to be nearby.
You (and your whole team) should be up at the front of the room to present. Unless you have a pre-arranged exception (nobody does yet as of Dec. 8), your team must present during the final exam period on Dec. 11 (8am-11am) in the normal lecture room.
