Objectives

To design a generative art piece or a game exploring in depth one  of the generative methods discussed in this course.

Description

For the last 3 weeks you have been working on your final project: a generative art piece or a game that uses procedural content generation. All this work will be delivered as both a web page in your portfolio and a Google Slides deck. The page will contain all the documentation of your project and the slide deck will be used to present the project in class. The project will be presented on August 15 (Thursday) in 7 minutes (5 for content, 1 for demo and  1 for questions):

  • Web Page
    • The name of your experience.
    • Your name and contact info (email, twitter, etc) .
    • A playable canvas (if you used p5.js or other WebGL based engine) or an image link  to download the binary of your piece (if you used a non WebGL engine). If you have an image link, it should be a screenshot from your experience.
      • 1-2 paragraphs describing what is this experience about and how to interact with it.
      • An "About " link that points to your Project Proposal page.
      • A "Source Code" link that points to your Project's GitHub repo.
    • Slide Deck
      • Cover (1 Slide)
      • Artistic Statement (from Proposal) : 1-2 slides
      • A description of the experience itself (from Proposal): 1-3 slides
        • Technical details (from Proposal): 1-3 slides
        • Schedule (from Proposal): 1-2 slides
        • Demo (link to your project's web page): 1 slide

      Submission

Your submission will be two links: one to your project webpage and another one to your Google Slides.
