- Due Jan 19, 2018 by 11pm
- Points 10
- Available Jan 15, 2018 at 9am - Jan 22, 2018 at 11pm
- What is your own top social issue? Why is it more important than the other issues in the reading? Defend your position with some data. Cite your sources of information.
- Choose two different metrics for analyzing this issue. Make two plots showing the historical trend of this issue using the two different metrics. Bonus points if you can choose metrics such that one plot that shows its getting worse, and another showing its getting better.
- By 'metric' I mean some measurable number which serves as a proxy to decide if that issue is getting better or worse. It could be 'lives saved', 'dollars earned', 'energy wasted', 'water used', 'days spent playing video games', or anything else. For this assignment we will need to choose two different ways to approximate what is happening with this social issue.
- Assignment will be submitted through Crowdgrader.
- After submission, you are required to grade peer submissions.
