What's New(ish)

@mentions – Students can now tag each other in annotations Links to an external site. and get notified when someone replies. More engagement, richer dialogue, and a little nudge to keep conversations flowing. ✨

  Automated Grading – Save time with the new auto-grading feature Links to an external site., allowing instructors to set the required number of annotations and replies for full or partial credit. Scores can be synced to Canvas Gradebook directly from the Hypothesis Dashboard. Editing an existing Hypothesis assignment or creating a new one will show you these new auto-grading options!

Canvas Groups in Hypothesis ā€“ Hypothesis Assignments now support Canvas Groups! This is major news and one of the most common requests from faculty using the tool! Now teachers can create Canvas Groups as they like and easily use a single Hypothesis assignment to assign to all of them.
